An empty shop with 1900 sqft. This picture was taken from the large garage style door. Yes, it's kind of rough around the edges. That opening on the right was used to link two shops into one for the previous occupant. When the other side is leased, the landlord will wall it up.
First thing to do is bring in my faithful Dreamcatcher. This is one of the best adventure paddling/sailing boats ever. I need to get this boat ready for the Point Series Challenge at Cedar Key on November 12.
The first thing this shop needs is some strong sawhorses to support the strongback. Notice the cutting board. If all you have for straight cuts is a circular saw, you need a cutting board and clamps. BTW, although I'm making some special sawhorses, I could have used the folding plastic ones I'm using here for a temporary workbench.
Another item that I must have is a radio and CD player. Jimmy Buffett is required listening while building a sailboat!
Another tool that you must have is a good drill. This one is a little on the heavy duty side, but it's all I have right now. I'll get a smaller battery operated drill in a couple days.
