Finished assembling another ama side panel today.  Pretty boring stuff by now so no pictures.  But guess what?  I get to start one of the most important steps on the vaka tomorrow.  Once I start this sequence I can't stop because I want a chemical as well as mechanical bond for each step.  I have to finish all steps of the interior with no more than 24 hours between steps:

  1. Thursday is for tacking the seams.
  2. Friday is for filleting all seams and installing stem and stern
  3. Saturday is for laminating the entire interior with carbon fiber
  4. Sunday is for laminating the entire interior with s-glass
  5. Monday is for a filler coat and installing bulkheads
While that is going on I hope to continue with the ama panels.  I should be ready to build the first ama hull next week.
