All the vaka fillets are done.  Finally.

First I removed all the tape and sanded the tack points.  Then I had to reinstall the tape.  This picture shows the first line of tape reinstalled.

I also worked on the stem.  Here the outside is taped so I can fill the screw holes with epoxy.

The tape has been reinstalled and we are ready for the fillets.

The fillets use System Three EZ-Fillet which turned out OK.  If you have been ready this blog you know that I have had some reservations about the System Three products.  Well, after adjusting my technique to the System Three products, they turned out OK.  I mixed 1/2 cup of resin with 1/4 cup of hardener and put the result into a caulking tube.  The mix was easy to apply using a caulking gun.  Then I smoothed out the bead and cleaned up each fillet.  It worked pretty well.

Here is the result.  All fillets are done and tomorrow we will be ready for the next step.

But what a mess!
