Buying Epoxy

If you decide on System Three for your epoxy, they have many choices of types and packaging.  GelMagic is intended for gluing objects together and works well for that task although mixing and cleanup is somewhat of a pain in the . . .

But they offer two styles of packaging so take your pick.

Notice the bottles on the right.  This is what I bought first because I didn't know about the cartridges on the left.  Notice one bottle is upside down.  That is because it is so thick you can't get anything out if it is the other way around.  Also there is a lot of waste.

The cartridges on the left mix everything for you by using the special tips as shown in the photo.  No mess and very little waste - in theory - I haven't tried them yet but they look promising.  I really don't know which is cheaper.  But the cartridges should eliminate the mess with very little waste.  Also, GelMagic cooks off fairly fast.  The auto mix tips and cartridges should help get the glue in place faster.

I'll let you know the results as soon as I get to use them.
